MCU IIThe NACT MCU II empowers service providers to scale their NACT Telecom Solution to match growing market demand. Using the MCU II in conjunction with NACT's business management solution, the NTS 2000, service providers manage provisioning, signaling, and data collection of up to 16 IPAX gateways through a single control point. This extends the benefits of number authentication, authorization and accounting to as many as 30,720 TDM and VoIP ports in support of up to 15,360 simultaneous calls.
With the MCU II, multiple IPAX gateways become a single functional unit; slashing the overhead and dramatically simplifying provisioning and management tasks. This also eliminates the cost and administration of separate point codes for individual gateway switches. MCU II connects to individual IPAX gateways via an Ethernet connection making it possible to implement distributed networks. While simultaneously managing all of the switching gateways, the MCU II also protects business critical resources by overseeing prepaid functions, consolidating fraud controls, and redundant data storage. Together, these applications allow service providers to maximize revenue while minimizing costs incurred by data loss and fraudulent activity. |
