NACT Announces New Media Gateway

Provo, Utah —September 17, 2007 — NACT Telecommunications, Inc. (“NACT”) today announced the release of the MTN GatewayTM: a low cost, highly scalable, feature rich, media gateway. The MTN GatewayTM will allow customers to benefit from NACT’s twenty-five years of advanced telecommunications application software and network management capabilities with a new, lower cost, smaller footprint VoIP switching gateway platform. Additionally, the MTN GatewayTM will support NACT’s Prepaid Applications, now called “VinciTM”. The MTN GatewayTM will support both IP and TDM protocols including H.323, SIP, ISDN, SS7/C7, and R1.

In the future, the MTN GatewayTM has been designed to support new features such as Class V applications, extended VoIP business features, voice mail, conferencing, and media gateway functions. The MTN GatewayTM will provide current NACT customers the ability to extend their switching infrastructure and applications without the cost and risk of a “fork-lift” upgrade. In addition, the MTN GatewayTM will provide a platform where new revenue-generating services, like Class V, unified messaging etc. can be provided on the same platform.

“The MTN GatewayTM is a cutting edge solution that will provide customers with a media rich gateway at very competitive prices,” said Eric Gurr, NACT CEO. “NACT is already seeing tremendous demand for this new product from partners, existing customers, new service providers, and value-added resellers.”

NACT will target inter-exchange carriers, independent phone companies, prepaid service providers, cable companies, and Internet Service Providers (ISPs), all of which can significantly benefit from the low-cost and the flexibility of the MTN GatewayTM. Future upgrades to the MTN GatewayTM will uniquely position it for the hosted and on-premise IP-PBX space in the Small to Medium sized business (SMB) market.
