Training Environment

Training Environment & Hours
The training class takes place in a specially equipped room. Classroom terminals are connected to a functional switch and billing system. The class size is limited to twelve individuals to facilitate personalized attention. Qualified personnel from the Training/Consulting Department teach the class.

The instructional format is lecture and demonstration followed by guided tasks, which allows students to get hands-on experience. The classroom switch is connected to phones in the room allowing the students to have live interaction with the switch while learning routing, voice prompts, real-time rating, fraud prevention and so much more.

For the billing system each day's lectures and tasks are based upon the previous days lecture and tasks until the student is able to create cards, enable cards, make phone calls and rate them, collect the data and run reports.

Testing
Running a telecommunications company is no small task. Although NACT makes every effort to make that task easier through the design of its equipment, users who are not trained on the equipment can easily make mistakes that interrupt the smooth flow of business resulting in frustration, inconvenience, and even revenue loss.

To help customers avoid this, NACT has developed a training program complete with tests. The purpose of the tests is two fold: First, the tests will help ensure-from NACT's standpoint-consistency in, and effectiveness of, training. Second, the tests create a standard, which, when reached, will signify that the student is certified at the basic level in the operation of the equipment. The final examination is given the afternoon of the last day of each class. It is an open-book test. Students who pass the test will be mailed a certificate after their score is verified.
